I had the privilege of meeting today's Hump Day Hunk at the Romance Novel Convention a couple of weeks ago, where he was one of the RNCasanovas. My friend Jossilyn and I had the opportunity to interact with him at a couple of the evening events, and I really enjoyed our time with him. He's the type of person who is good at listening and conversing but definitely not dominating the discussion, which is perfect for an introvert like me. He also treated me to a memorable dance at the costume ball and was incredibly patient with my two left feet.:-) His youthful exuberance and sense of adventure is infectious, and I found him to be very sweet, charming, and outgoing. I think it would be hard to hang out with him and not have a lot of fun. That's why I'm naming Zack Williams this week's Hump Day Hunk. Well, it's finally here! It's Heart of the Season release day – everywhere except Amazon.:-( For any of my readers who were eagerly awaiting it there, I apologize for the delay. As they often do, things occurred that were outside my control. As I mentioned a couple of days ago, my cover designer was unexpectedly out of town, and I had to wait for her return to get the final adjustments done on my print cover. Since Createspace does my Kindle conversion, I couldn't get that started either without it.

My designer, Jaycee Delorenzo, is totally awesome though. As soon as she'd landed back in Arizona and had a little time to rest and catch her breath, she had the cover to me lickety-split.

Well, tomorrow's the big day. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Heart of the Season will be available at all major online book retailers. At the moment, all is calm with nothing new to report. So the final teaser quote is a sweet and sexy one from Jeannie.

We're down to just three more days until the Heart of the Season release date. I've successfully uploaded the print file to Createspace, and everything is ready to go there and on Kindle as soon as I get my cover adjustments back from my cover designer. We'll also be working on converting the eBook into all the file formats I need to upload it to AllRomance within the next day or two, so if you shop there, watch for the buy link announcement this weekend. Today, I have a romantic quote from Jeannie for you. It's the first thing she says to Zach when he finally shows her his scars.

“Wow, your eyes are even more beautiful than I thought. They're the color of a stormy sky. I've always liked thunderstorms.”

Four days left until the Heart of the Season release date. Hopefully, everything is still going to come together to meet my Monday, 7/27/15 goal, but unfortunately, a little wrinkle got thrown into my plans today. The print cover needs some minor adjustments that couldn't be completed until the formatting was finished and I had a official page count. Unbeknownst to me, my cover designer is currently in NYC attending RWA's national conference and won't be back until late Sunday. Luckily for me, she works really fast, so I've got my fingers crossed that we'll be able to pull off the print and Kindle releases in one day. In the meantime, here's another fun and sexy quote from Zach to whet your appetite.

Only five days left until the official release date of Heart of the Season. The eBook version is now up for pre-order on Barnes & Noble, iTunes, and Kobo. I'm still diligently working on the formatting for the print and Kindle versions, but so far, everything is still on track for 7/27/15. Today's teaser is a funny quote from Jeannie. Still fuming after her run-in with crusty Colonel Armstrong, this is what she tells her friend Jason, when he tries to diplomatically remind her that everyone has a story.
