This coming weekend, Friday and Saturday, January 30-31, 2015, I'll be signing my books in the romance authors' booth at the Glendale Chocolate Affaire. This annual event is being held a little earlier than usual this year to coincide with the Super Bowl that our neighboring city of Glendale is also hosting, so mark your calendars. Parking and admission to the event are free. It's held in Murphy Park in the heart of historic downtown Glendale, located at 58th and Glendale Avenues. There's always lots of food (including my favorite... chocolate :-)), craft booths, shopping, live music, activities for the kids, and much, much more. This year they also have a brand new Super Bowl themed attraction called “Super Street.” The Chocolate Affaire is lots of fun for the whole family, so if you're visiting the area or live nearby, come on down and check it out.
I've been to the festival many times before, and can say that it's always a lot of fun. This will be my first year there as a published romance author, so it's going to be totally different for me. If you come, be sure to stop by the romance authors' booth, located on the north side of Glenn Drive between 57th and 58th Avenues, and say hi to all of us. Several of our members will also be offering free writing workshops hourly throughout the day Saturday. I personally will be there signing my books on Friday from 12 pm – 5 pm, and on Saturday from 2 pm – 6 pm. I and all the other authors there would love to meet you. Who knows, maybe you'll find a few favorite book or author?
For more information, including a complete schedule of activities and directions, check out the Glendale Chocolate Affaire website.
